Heritage Oak’s Legacy 9 is considered among the top 9-hole course destinations on the North Shore. Home to avid and enthusiastic golfers of all ages, it’s a great place for a quick 9-hole golf fix. Golf course architect Roger Packard redesigned a primarily east-west routing to a completely new north-south layout in 1990. Rick Jacobson was engaged to perform the most recent improvements to the golf course. Improvements included adding new forward tees, re-grassing the greens, tees, and fairways along with fairway enhancements to holes 1, 2, and 9 to improve drainage. The new forward tees bring the total to six tee options per hole. The addition of the new set of forward tees will provide greater enjoyment of the game for players of all levels offering the challenge of hitting a variety of shots along with the added advantage of increased speed of play overall on the course.
